Savana Funk are a dynamic live band fusing funk, rock, blues, and African influences, with groove as their universal language and the stage as their natural home. Formed in Bologna in 2015 by Aldo, Blake, and Youssef, the trio have crafted a distinctive sound that moves between organic grooves, psychedelic textures, and dance-driven rhythms, further shaped by their acclaimed collaboration with international producer Gaudi.

In 2024, Savana Funk released the EP “Raha” together with Gaudi on the Record Kicks label, exploring Afro-Cosmic Disco influences and receiving airplay from stations such as BBC, Radio FIP France, and KCRW in the United States.

They have performed at leading festivals including Firenze Rocks with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sherwood Festival with Seun Kuti, A Cielo Aperto with Kokoroko, and Tanta Robba with Nu Genea. In 2025, Savana Funk expanded their international presence with a successful tour in Indonesia, a remarkable show at London’s ILMC, and a memorable performance at Sziget Festival in Budapest.

s In February 2026, the band released their new album “Behind The Eyes” , a work that marks their musical maturity. The record is produced by internationally renowned producer Tommaso Colliva, known worldwide for his Grammy-winning work with Muse and as the creator of Calibro 35 band.
